Before I begin, for those who are more modest or who get offended by the less discreet, I would encourage you to skip this post. To my immature mind, I find the nature and circumstance of this bizarriety to be both shocking and absolutely hilarious. (Please also keep in mind that this was found in a popular and very stylish restaurant .. a respectable restuarant).
Now, I can say with little hesitation that the Japanese tend to be more “literal” when it comes to any type of communication .. advertising, signage, and even story telling/joking .. though I have to say, there are times that their comfort with it can be quite alarming.
Take a closer look at the restroom door signage.
I am not sure what more can be said … other than that I didn’t realize using the restroom could be so exciting … (not to mention that my Japanese toilet stories only seem to get more interesting)
