Hungry for Halloween at NYC’s Chelsea Market

Shoppers perusing the bakeries and dessert shops in NYC’s popular Chelsea Market were loving the festive Halloween decorations. If you’ve never walked through and checked out the little shops, I highly recommend. Most of the food is freshly made and aroma from the ovens is absolutely wonderful.

Knotted in Confusion

In a recent visit to the UN Visitors Center, I noticed the “Knotted Gun” statue displayed in front of the entrance. I thought it was a marvelous message at the right venue, a visual stance against violence. I had to admit, that was my interpretation as I had not seen the sculpture before and knew nothing of its meaning. Wanting to learn a little more about its origin, I began to google and was astonished to see some of the uneducated ‘interpretations’ and conclusions people, particularly supporters of the NRA, had crafted.
